  Help Ohev Sholom go GREEN!

Our congregation is going GREEN! Thanks to Barbara Weber and our Religious School PTO, recycling opportunities will abound at our congregation. Here’s what we need:
Please bring your used computer ink cartridges and your glossy paper inserts, catalogues and magazines that are ready to be discarded to Sisterhood Hall. There you will find large containers for the cartridges and glossy papers near the coat rack.

Our congregation not only helps with the recycling effort, but we also receive money for the cartridges, and provide Tzedakah to the Ronald McDonald House, who makes money from recycling our magazines.

We’re also making sure that recycling waste baskets are placed next to our trash cans. Please remember to use them, and if you have children, help them understand the mitzvah of recycling and taking care of the planet that God gave us.

Items must be placed in the proper receptacles in Sisterhood Hall ONLY. Sisterhood Hall is open prior to religious services, on Wednesday afternoons for Religious School, and on Sunday mornings – Please do not bring your items at other times as we cannot accept your recyclables in the temple office or anywhere else in our new building.
